I had a little room left over on the wood trigger platform.

I found some scrap 1/2" Plexiglas.

Walla!

It gives me a level of confidence when I draw and aim it.

My first shot with the safety glass of a 5.2 g (80 grain) marble using the blue Thera-Band was 215 fps.

That's some thick plexiglass, should keep you real safe. How heavy is the trigger pull on that?

The trigger pull is not heavy, nor does it travel very far.

I will try to measure it.

My guess is under 2 pounds.
