My dialup connection isnt working very well for that video.  :-[ A good rule of thumb with archery and bringing down a deer is that 40 fpe is required upon penetration with a broadhead to get a clean kill.

Just noticed this Stu... wow that's pretty cool!!! it would be neat to see the power u could get with your slingshots using an arrow. I would would say that yes with the right power that design would be lethal on deer at close range.

Thanks for bumping this thread up, I was finally able to watch the video. It looks like it would be powerful enough for a deer at 12 yards or less. He certainly has the accuracy needed. I wish he would chronograph the arrow so we could see how fast it was moving.
