Do you think these would be accurate ammunition? I'm thinking of making some of these and give them a try

Not in a smooth bore. They will tumble and not be accurate. Any conical bullet must have spin to stabilize. The longer the bullet the faster it needs to spin. Even in the rifled barrel I`m using I cannot use elongated projectiles as the velocity is to low to spin them fast enough.

I think you will have much better luck with the patched round balls. And lots of practice. I used to compete with .22 and would go through as much as a thousand rounds a week. These were just a couple of local gun club competitions. Never got into any sanctioned events.

If these are steel they will wear on a barrel pretty badly.

I'm all out of balls for now, so I think the only option I got is to go back to making darts. I made two head first darts and I filled their cones with superglue. So the cones should be solid when they dry.
