A possible cheap high PSI method.
« on: June 26, 2009, 06:57:59 PM »
Some 115 VAC pressure washers can pump water at up to 2,000 PSI.

The average about 1,300 PSI.

Connect the pressure washer into a closed cylinder.

The air within the cylinder will reach the maximum pressure that the washer can pump.

You may want a top air gauge.

Decant the pressurized air from the top.

Open a low valve to drain the cylinder.

You  can buy a used 110 VAC washer for about $25.

Link to the AG pump please.  ( 1,500 PSI?)

Thanks for your responses.

The Air Force 3 stage pump goes to 3600 psi and costs around $185. It seems to be the cheapest 3 stage and really produces all the power anyone could possibly use. Unfortunately, I spent a good chunk of my savings buying a house, so I'm stuck with my $25 shock pump that only goes to 400 psi and my modified air compressor that now goes to 250 psi.  :-\
