M4 Target pics
« on: August 23, 2010, 09:39:07 AM »
Finally got supplies for 1000+ darts and I got my pump working... so I started shooting more then usual and I figured I'd post a few casualties as they come.

Heres one computer case panel. I still have one more but thats reserved for the plaster .408

Range: 10m
Pressure: 0-500 psi... who knows
Projectiles: Nail darts with 5cm nails

Front side...

And my favourite, backside  ;D

I know the group is not impressive but its ok for a pump without a pressure gauge and a shooter thats just trying to do some damage  ;D

Heres a sneek preview of my pump..

Note that it doesnt have a hose or a pressure gauge yet... once I get those 2, I'll post it along with other details about it in the air systems.
Btw. sry for the angled shot... it would show more then needed otherwise  ;D

Also I have an old CRT monitor awaiting destruction... as long as my parents dont throw it away

Nice shooting  ;D Glad to see your pump in working order, you've done a good job. It almost looks store bought, and I'll bet it'll perform better. How many strokes to fill the gun up?

About 60  ;D

And I get even more shots per fill so I guess I'm hitting the 600psi limit

1000+ ammo? :o too free? lol  ;)

ahh I wish  ;D

Heres one paper target... I was shooting off a rest to see just how accurate the M4 is with 6cm nails.
The biggest circle is 20cm in diameter and the smallest is 2cm, range is a lil more then 15m

Looks like a real mess.. especially from the top and side (note the destroyed center on the wooden dart board  ;D)

Edit
Forgot to mention that I started shooting suppressed. I'll try to throw in a few pics of the suppressor next time and maybe some of the internals. Its incredible how it improves the accuracy... but it doesnt change point of aim point of impact. If only I can get the rifling right for those darts and I would have a real winner.
