lathe

got the metal lathe working today..... quite a puzzle, saying as i don't have an instruction manual. tomarrow i will actually turn something, to test it, and after that i will try to build a hammer valve .22 revolver, hopefully it will have about 2-4 shots per fill, but also it will be revolver-esque, be cause you will pull back a hammer which will fly forward and hit the valve.

AnHui ChiZhou Household Machine Tool Co., its about 50 years old. it does milling, drilling and turning. i turned a piece of plastic (delrin?) that was lying around, just to test the machine, and then i made a square copper rod into a round copper rod  :o  i can put the piece of plastic back on the lathe and make the piston for a hammer valve with it (there is still enough of it left) iv'e been thinking you could make a hammer valve revolver where the cylinder rotates around the air chamber....  >:D
