I know that to get the fiberglass laminates it is kinda expensive and then you will need some kind of "mold" so to speak to clamp the laminates together while you are gluing them... sound like a cool project keep us posted I have considered building some kind of fiberglass laminate bow myself

Oh and by the way the laminates are made of wood and the fiberglass is just the compound that holds them together I believe... Or are you just making the stock out of fiberglass??? more info please Mouz

i am planning to make the stock out of birch. the bow will be a single maple core with fiber glass around it. the reason for the maple is so i have something to build on with the fiber glass. but i discovered i cannot afford the fiber glass stuff, so this project will have to wait until i have some sort of income.
