Yes and that's the only reason haha... I am going to build my valve 3,000psi capable though and we'll see how it goes from there

Just for kicks I measured the length of my gun with a tape today to see how close it was to my height... I am am almost 6ft. tall and my gun measures 57.5 inces (for you old world guys that's 145cm) Wow that's only a foot less than my height!!! man I can't wait to get my valve built and shrink this thing to about half that size lol...

Hey guys I had seen some diff penetration tests done by Gary Barnes over at Barnes Pneumatic using thin pieces of wood... so I thought I would give it a try... The wood is I believe mixed hardwood 1/4in thick 8in long and about 4in wide (note there are 2 pieces side by side against each other) the shot was taken at about 15 yards and penetrated 4 out of the 5 boards and left a deep dent in the 5th (the 6th was nailed to a tree)... enjoy

The target...

Backside of boards after shot...(boards are labeled and in order)

Hey guys long time no see.. The forum actually warned me that this topic hasn't been replied to in over 120 days.. Wow I hadn't realized I took such a long break from building airguns.. Well with long breaks comes big breakthroughs and I think you all will enjoy this one.. Haha sorry to get you all excited but it's late here and I can't do much more work without some more supplies so hopefully tomorrow I can get more pics of work done and at least a video of what I have going already.. but this is my prototype valve and it works quite well so far  ;D

If thats a paintball CO2 tank then the threads are 5/8-18UNF-2B right? Where did you get the adapter?

Sorry I haven't posted more pics guys ive been busy and this was just a small test valve that has a lot of flaws.. I will be building a much larger valve soon.. Something like 1in. od and 6in long.. To answer your questions yes that's a C02 cylinder BUT there is a catch.. I can fill C02 cylinders to between 800-900 psi with my hand pump very easily so these C02 cylinders are filled for free and are not effected by temperature  ;D The valves im making use a LOT of gas lol so it's good that I can fill for free.. I am expecting maybe 10-20 full power shots off a 14oz
