Too much weight at the front for me on the laminate... I'd rather have it in the shoulder or a counterweight with a beefy stock... your design looks nice tho. The problem is, the bolt handle would get in your face if you're right handed  ;D

Haha yeah I realized this and it's on that side just to show you how it will work... The gun will not be that heavy or unbalanced...the drawing is to scale with a 28in. barrel

yeah I designed it as a bench rest type rifle for long range high precision shots the extra weight in the stock keeps it still when trying to hold crosshairs steady

ah, no tails this time. what about lead poisoning? don't you worry about that? i don't use lead because its poisonous, i know you "can" handle it "safely", but i don't know how.

I dont think hes a little baby to try and put lead into his mouth or handle lead and not wash his hand afterwards.
I'm not sure about safety equipment tho.. need to be really careful while pouring that thing to avoid skin contact.

I doubt it can have any effect with genes and stuff... US military had problems with that but they were in the business far longer then any mans lifetime.

To answer your question Mouz yes lead is dangerous VERY dangerous when it's hot there are poisonous fumes and as Ace said it could burn you very badly...that said I wear welding gloves and try not to get to close to the stove when it's heating up to avoid the fumes...and PLEASE if you do try this do it outside!!! the fumes will not just affect you if you do it indoors and don't care and also as Ace said wash your hands after contact with the slugs and any time after you cast
