3/4 inch ball valve and pipe for the air chamber.  I'm using a Schedar valve on the back. .50 cal barrel made from a piece of copper pipe more pics to come  ;D

Ok just shot my airgun some more heres some pics  :D
here's the trigger design

shootin some old wooden target arrows.  shoot very straight and nice penetration!!

this airgun rockin' out shotgun style.. the more bb's that were shot out, the less damage they did on impact as seen on this cardboard. the first shot with alot of bb's didn't even penetrate the cardboard, but the second shot with less did.

fewer shot =  more penetration

these shots were from about 10 yards away. very wide spread!  in the first shot with lots of bb's, many of them actually missed the target and went on the side.

I changed the barrel by adding a longer piece of pipe, so it should fire more effecient now hopefully.

all shots were done at 80 psi

Looks good  ;) You should replace the cheap rope with some 550 type III cord or a stainless steel cable... right now your rope is just slightly frayed but once it cuts completely through you're gonna have an accidental discharge

make that 200 or 300 psi, don't be scared. it makes a BIG difference.

FighterAce- I totally agree I just used cheap rope to get it up and running I also need to file the trigger some more that would help. I want to get it up to like 300 or higher but need a shock pump, as my air compressor only goes to like 125

My advice.. build your own pump. It will last longer if you use metal parts, have more volume then any shock pump and it will be much easier to fix since you will know every little piece of it  ;D

btw. polishing the part the rope hooks onto will also make a very smooth trigger.

i know my shock pumps inside quite well myself, i realized recently that the pressure gauge is held on by this dinky little screw, so i'm gonna ad some hose clamps for safety. the thing that bugs me about it: it's capacity is about that of a pen. i'm gonna build my own pump soon. it may be my next project.

Its not the screw thats gonna fail you mouz... its the plastic parts. Thats why an all metal pump is the way to go.

Nice airgun, some paracord would go well on the air chamber as well and provide a comfortable grip. Leave a loop at the bottom that can go around your wrist, and it will give some more support. Looks a heck of a lot better than my first.  :-[ If you use a stronger schrader with threads, you should be able to take the pressure up nicely with such a gun. As it is now, I'd take it up to 150 psi with no sweat. Try some AA batteries if that is type M copper for the barrel, you can launch them out of sight.  ;D

the screw threads into the plastic. that is where i think it will fail .
