so what do you guys use most when making your barrels? I've been using copper 1/2 inch tubing... with not terrific results.. the barrel seems warped somehow and is easily bent.. its M type.      so what materials do you use?

I use green ekoplastic PVC and its extremely bendable... thats why I use full length copper bolts to go around it.
I've never heard of copper bending badly... my wall thickness is exactly 1mm, whats yours?

I use type L copper pipe for barrels it is more rigid than the m. I've used 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4. I also use 1/2" od aluminum tube for a .40 barrel. Steel brakeline makes a good barrel. Schedule 80 3/4" pvc fits 12 gauge wads very nicely and schedule 40 1/2" pvc fits 20 gauge wads a bit tight, but workable. I even recently used some flexible polyethelene tubing as a barrel insert on my machinegun. Sometimes you have to get creative to get the desired results. Using different thicknesses of wadding can help you acheive optimum ammo to barrel fit.
Pick your barrel materials carefully, always be sure they are straight as possible before purchasing.
