pump help!!!

why? i'm just gonna get a copper tube, an O-ring, copper tube-threaded thing, and some nuts and short iron pipes....?

LOL  You said you were gonna machine your cylinder out of aluminum and the only reason somebody would do that is to get a specific ID that cant be found in anything commercially.

no, i said i was going to make it an aluminum body, the thing that was plastic that the cylinder goes into. but i might have made the cylinder too..... but my pump is GONE, not dead. i set it on the car bumper and forgot to pick it up    one of our neighbors said that they found a bike pump on the road, so i may get it back

just make sure that whatever you use for a check valve is right at the bottom of the tube and the o ring is right at the bottom of the piston
