hey guys! I'm a new aiguner from Michigan..  well not really new just new to homemade airguns     I have built a pneumatic spud gun and I play around alot with pellet guns, I got a Crosman Quest

hey welcome to the board I also have a crossman quest well its my sons do you by chance still have the instructions for adjusting the trigger I dont want to take the whols thing apart and figure it out if i dont half too

     I have adjusted the trigger, all you have to do is tighten or loosen the small screw right behind the trigger.  You shouldn't even have to remove the trigger guard.  I have took apart the Quest of the stock and it surprised me at how simple the design is! Loosening the tigger pull did help alot.   I do want to build my own airgun, hopefully a .25 caliber ball valve design and start hunting.

a bigger bore gun is much easier to make. i like .45 to .60 myself.

because you can use easy to get standard pipe sizes, and you get more oomph for your pressure. and you don't need it to be quite as high velocity to pack a punch. and ammo is easier to make.

yeah, that does make sense I guess I could make a .50 cal barrel with my 3/4 inch ball valve.

Thanks jug and what mouz said bigger is good im playin with a 40 somethin  cal right now but had my best results so far with a 87 cal i took apart the 2" for now hmm i still need to take a pik of that dart with its caulk tube sabot any way thanks again for the info and welcome aboard

Hey Jug if you are going to make a .50 cal I recommend using a 1in. reservoir and 1in. ballvalve...I found that double the size of the barrel gets good power also depending on how long your barrel is you are gonna want a decent ratio...currently I have a 24-26cu.in. reservoir and a 28 in barrel
