i think we all have access to multiple 3/4 inch pine boards right? i think mine would only go through one though.

cool maybe we should have a 2x4 shooting contest...they have to be 12in long boards that way the don't just split

he said 3/4 pine boards i have lots of 3/4 plywood 2x4's are scarce for mebut i can get em if needed hmm how bought biiks my wife gets lots of books at garagesales and there are always lots of bad books for sale real cheap at these sales another thought would be aol cd's they dont send them as often as they used too or theres junk mail

Well my thought was that most ppl if they don't allready have a decent 2x4 or 2 laying around can go to there local lumber yard and by a 12 footer for less then 5 bucks...that's 12 layers of 2x4 or better yet 2 test targets with 6 layers...I don't see even my gun going through that much wood

seriously guys, i think i'd be lucky of mine went through one 2 by 4..... with a round ball. can we shoot what ever ammo we want?
@pellethuntr: what caliber is your gun? how much does a round ball for it weigh? is the ball lead or steel?

.50 cal lead RB's they way 180gr...rules are it can't be a dart or an arrow has to be a bullet...this is not a competition just want to compare notes and see some damage pics

i just had on idea: we all shoot modeling clay. its pretty consistent in density and has amazing bullet stopping capability.
but i still like just shooting boards.
