this is my new dart:

it has a small washer slipped down over the nail to impart more of the energy to the target, rather than flying through and wasting tons of energy, it can impart that into the target. it works great against pumpkins.

Nice  ;D I like your way of thinking. You get good penetration and energy transfer, the best of both worlds in a dart.

The polytetrafluoroethylene coating looks nice  ;D

I hope you're not using this on any great distance because that washer is just sucking the speed out of the dart. I can see that dart drift off course if the washer happens to be at an angle.

@ace: it is made to be short range. what on earth polytetrafluoroethylene? its paper and fiber glass reinforced packing tape, it holds more pressure than duct-tape.

It looked like it from the pic... had no idea it was fiberglass... where do you buy it and does it come in black?  ;D

i got it from a friend, but i think you can buy it pretty much anywhere.
