Hinge the bolt and it will allow dart/arrow breech loading.

For long dart/ arrow loading, I think a ball valve at the rear of the barrel is also good. Maybe I will try a PVC reverse version of that gun so it will be neatter, lighter and ...less like a real airgun. I maybe will move the air chamber to the rear (stock chamber) and the pilot valve to the front of the piston valve. The problem is I don't have any experience on building a small PVC piston valve. Plastic moulding and lathing are difficult to me. Any help, please!

OK, here is the ugliest, weirdest homemade airgun in the world  :) I'm still in the work but most of the things have done. More details will come later.

Looks quite interesting, I assume it uses a piston valve and looks like it might get multiple shots per fill. Keep us posted on your progress.  ;D

I like your idea of a multishot gun  per fill. Have not tried it yet. i always hate it when i spot game,  when i run into the house to get my gun and pump it up the animal is gone. -sigh-. Sill like the simple pvc airgun.

Hi. This gun is only a single-shot one. Because I've never made a piston-valved gun before, I used low quality material to make it as a scrap gun. It works at low pressures. If I made it in metal, made the piston more carefully and used a hammered pilot valve (the hammer would be similar to that of a revolver that doesn't need to be cocked before shooting), a Blowmatic magazine and I charged it at high pressures, it would be a multi-shot one. The good things of the design are it doesn't need more material to make a butt-stock, I can aim with my bare eye right behind the barrel without the need of an expensive scope and it can be loaded a long dart from behind. Some video clips will follow. See you later!

And no sight. Sight is the most difficult part to make of a gun, isn't it?

Looking pretty good  ;D Those are some pretty deadly looking darts. If you can get some metal plumbers tape and some small bolts and nuts, you can make a simple sight system that works surprisingly well.

Can you give more details of the sight? Is it adjustable in both range and windage? I hope it will make my test more precise.
