I posted a bit earlier on shooting two 3/8" ball bearings at the same time. At close range, the bearings stay close together, but spread too far apart at 20 yards. To solve this problem, I decided to attach them together using a 2" length of nylon cord and hot glue. At 20 yards, they penetrate the target about a half inch apart and stay on target much better than I expected. On the attached picture, the first shot was aimed at the center. The second was aimed at the top center. As you can see, even without sights, it is pretty dead on. On impact, they pop off the string and go their separate ways, creating two wound channels, in theory increasing their killing power. What I also found interesting is that the string itself went through the cardboard and into a baby formula container.
