Unless u have a lot of pressure equaling lots of power using shot will be less than effective

o i see, but what if i use it to shoot starlings wil it work.cuz ive got lots of starlings here. If i use around 20 lead shots 6mm type will it kill them. many shots will have a better chance of hittin the target m i correct.

one more thing, i made my first airgun its a ball valve pvc type. i have a cat problem, theres 8 stray cats around my house some of em skin sick. i would lie to get rid of em with my gun will the 3'' nail dart at 70 psi do , a lung shot

Uhhh well yes it will kill them but prolly not quickly or humanly so i wouldn't do it, the last thing we need in the AG community is a bad rap on homemade AG's

What bout starlings will it do em humanely. leadshots at 100psi./ball valve AG no spring trigger?

It might but i would test it first on targets before u go blasting away...Also pics of you're airgun would be great if u can

ive been hunting birds with bowguns and slingshot for a year they both get the job done, but the blowgun is more accurate.ive taken 45 birds mostly starlings, doves and sparrows. i want more success, so hopefully a homemade AG will outdo my blowgun and help me take more starlings. Im also thinking of taking crows and rats in the near future. thanks again your help.
